We at “The REAL Mary MacKillop” are a number of Australians who believe that our nation needs spiritual renewal.

And that Australia’s first saint, Mother Mary MacKillop, has, in her life and writings, the message that we need.

That she is God’s gift to us to guide our future.

“The REAL Mary MacKillop” project was born out of a conversation between a GP doctor and a political organiser, both Catholics, discussing ways of perhaps making Australia a better place for young people to grow up in.

Our purpose then, at “The REAL Mary MacKillop” is to learn more ourselves through Saint Mary of the Cross about how to live our own lives -- and to pass the message on to others through the media and books.

Our new book, “The REAL Mary MacKillop”, is one step in spreading the word. It has been written by Arnold Jago with help from several other people.

This book is a sequel to another smaller book, “Stress and Common Sense”, by the same writer -- a brief handbook designed as a step-by-step guide to overcoming that great sickness of our day, un-coped-with stress.
